About This Station
The station is powered by a Davis Vantage Vue weather station. The data is collected every few seconds and the site is updated using AJAX. This sites data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station is comprised of an anemometer, a rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor. Due to living in an RV I am extremely limited on where I site the station. This means I can not use optimal siting for sensor location. I do the best I can to provide good weather data.
About Traveling RV Weather Data
TravelingRVWx allows me to perform weather data collection where our RV is parked, normally an RV Park. This data is mainly presented for the occupants of the RV Park. I enjoy "watching" the weather as a hobby, and publishing my data to a website allows me to share that data with others who may express an interest in the local conditions. I also share my data with external sites (when not internet challenged) for inclusion with the National Weather Service (NWS).
The RV is a 2008 Monaco Diplomat 40 foot SFT floor plan in the Thoroughbred color scheme, both inside and out. You can see a picture of it here. To see how I mount the weather station on the RV click here.
A special thanks to Budgie for creating the header image for the site. Being that I am graphically challenged I really appreciate the help. Please stop by Hebrides Weather and Photo site to see other work by Budgie.
